Map composition:
- Amount payed by each different composed map – without distinction from course to course inside the same event;
- Introduction of all pretended logos, legend, control description, images or other information boxes requested.
Course openings:
- Amount payed for each course opening done (by variant if working with relay);
- Technical validation of all selected controls, cut and technical preparation of control circles, codes and number positions always according to IOF regulations.
Printing:
- Price table defined by paper dimension and paper type;
- Levels of paper dimensions:
- A5 maps or less (14.8cmx21cm)
- A5+ maps (16cmx22,5cm)
- A4 maps – equal or smaller size than A4 and larger than A5+ (21cmx29,7cm)
- A4+ maps (22,5cmx32cm)
- A3 maps – equal or smaller sizer than A3 and larger than A4+ (29,7cmx42cm)
- A3+ maps (45cmx32cm)
- Larger than A3+ maps (dimensions not recomended by expert recomendations to avoid creating problems to athletes on folding and handling the maps), but possible to print on occasional situations) (since A3+ to 100cmx32cm)
- Paper types used:
- High quality 120gr paper supplied by TorrasPapel used alone or in plastic bags;
- Robuskin white paper, impermeable and non-tearable with a value 25% higher than the value of 120gr bagged paper;
- Stone paper plus waterproof and non-tear more suitable for dorsal / chest.
All paper is validated and tested and the paper used is always the same regardless of the event dimension or the type of event. High quality paper of 120gr supplied by Xerox.
Map plastic bagging:
- The level of prices is also defined by plastic bag dimensions.
- Plastic bags equal or smaller than A4+;
- Plastic bags A3;
- Plastic bags equal or larger than A3+ (the biggest possible dimension for a map to be inside a plastic bag is 50cmX32cm)
The bags are supplied by ITEMBA, and hot sealed. Regardless of difficult weather conditions, the bags won’t open or tear (that will only happen If a fall or other accident may tear the plastic, even thoug that won’t be easy due to the consistency of the plastic bags (thickness of 6mm).
Map plastic bagging is not mandatory in smaller size events on the occasions where the weather conditions would allow not to use them. If a client wishes so, instead of the map bagging process, Página Imaginária can sell the bags so the organizers can insert the maps afterwards.
Others
- Preparation and printing of auxiliary control descriptions (size according to official dimensions);
- Composition and printing of bib numbers

- On foot’O size (14,8cmx21cm)
- Composition and printing of certificates or awards to be framed by organizers.
Free of charge
- Printing class names on the back side of maps, if requested;
- Delivery costs for Spanish clients – Página Imaginária will support these costs to avoid charging more for Spanish clients
Type of working files
- Maps should by sent in ocad (.ocd). Courses can be send in ocad (.ocd), condes (.wcd) or purple pen files. If the composition is already done, and the service is only printing (and adding Página Imaginária logo), it is requested to send a .pdf and an .ai or .eps file for each different course.
Delivery schedule
- Deliveries will always be made 2 days before the event’s first competition day. To make it possible, event files should be delivered the latest til 6 days before the event in one day events. If we have a multiday event, the 2 days before the event delivery will need a 10 days before the event file delivery.
